It is the greatest thrill in my life to play music for seniors and those in rehab facilities. I cherish the connection, the smiles and joy that is shared for those few moments as we bond over the great pop songs of the last five decades. We all could use more good feelings and energy to face the day, and the elder population benefit so tremendously from the magic of music. It takes the pain away for a moment, it connects them to happy memories, and if they join in the singing, their mood can be elevated for the whole day.
I offer strolling programs and amplified shows, where I make use of backing tracks to create variety and dynamics.

Bibi has visited my facility, Montgomery Nursing and Rehab Center (MNRC), a handful of times over the last year, and always brings so much great talent, energy, stage presence, and fun! Her musical entertainment for our seniors on voice and guitar bring an eclectic selection of songs from the last seven or eight decades! She performs renditions of songs my residents grew up on and also throws in some songs they haven’t heard in many years, such as “If I Only Had A Brain” from The Wizard of Oz. The result is smiles galore as the seniors sing along with her and recall wonderful memories from their past. For all of Bibi’s performances the residents have left the hour-long activity in great spirits and looking forward to her next visit! Book Bibi for your next facility event and you won’t be disappointed by her wonderful musical talent, magnetic personality, and kind-hearted nature!
"What a joy it was for us at the Norwegian Christian Home & Health Center this past July when Bibi Farber performed for us at a Resident Barbecue in our outdoor Courtyard. The selection of songs she chose was perfect for our Short-term Rehab population and she played loud enough to be heard and soft enough so our residents could socialize. Although she met them for the first time at the event, she intuitively knew how to please our crowd. She received great compliments from those that reside here as well as from Employees and Volunteers. Bibi made it easy for us by bringing and setting up her own equipment so we could tend to other things. She fit right in and even though this was our first experience with her and her music, we weren't disappointed. She proved talented, professional and friendly. It was a delight to work with her. We took a chance on new entertainment and she exceeded our expectations. We would like her to come back to our Facility in Brooklyn for other programs to include working with our Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Residents.
Bibi Farber is one of our favorite performers for our music parties. She is a wonderful singer and guitarist, offering a great mix of music that we don’t usually hear from our other entertainers. The residents always enjoy her programs as reflected in their smiles, attentiveness and positive feedback.
Bibi is warm, personable and professional, and makes a point of interacting with the residents during her performance.
I would definitely recommend her for your next music event.
I had the pleasure of meeting Bibi over a year ago while searching for entertainment for our nursing home's outdoor carnival day. I needed something special for the occasion, and Bibi turned out to be the perfect fit. She mentioned that she could walk on stilts, create balloon animals, and sing. While it all sounded promising over the phone, witnessing her act in person was truly remarkable. Not only is Bibi incredibly talented, but she also possesses the rare ability to connect with our elderly residents. Entertaining this demographic is quite a challenge, requiring the capacity to captivate their attention and encourage active participation. Bibi accomplishes this effortlessly, leaving our residents beaming, singing along, and even stomping their feet with joy. We've invited her back to our facility multiple times, and we plan to continue doing so for many years to come. I wholeheartedly endorse Bibi for your facility or event. She is an exceptionally gifted performer and an absolute pleasure to collaborate with.
